T__________T

This is sucks ! The FIA wanted BAR banned for the entire season. The final decision was they've lost their points from San Marino and have to sit out Spain (this weekend) and Monaco (in two weeks).
BAR were excluded from the San Marino results after an additional 8.92 kilos of fuel were discovered in an extra collector tank (in red) within the main tank on Jenson Button's car. Though the tank itself was known to the FIA and not illegal (other teams use similar systems), the car failed to meet the minimum 600 kilo weight requirement once the fuel in it was removed. As is usual practice, the feeder tank is placed in the lower right of the main tank, to minimise the effects of centrifugal force while cornering on a typical clockwise circuit, where the majority of turns are right-handers.

BUT, It's a bit weird that the stewards weren't asked to appear, given that they were there, know what was said/seen, and decided that the car WAS legal. it's suspicious that, after the stewards gave the car the OK, it was the FIA and not one of the other teams who complained. It looks like they were stitched up & were being opportunistic ...

A very very sad week for Jenson, Sato and BAR ;(

Dunno it's a happy news or not, BUT, Jenson and his fiance Louise have split up ! *evil grins*
