Food Appreciation : CANTON▪i
Jan. 14th, 2010 01:20 pmOn the flight (AirAsia) to Kuala Lumpur (25th Dec 2009), as usual, I always read the monthly bulletin in front of my seat. Inside the buletin, there's an article about food recommendation.
For the December issue, they recommend CANTON▪i (http://canton-i.com.my/)
And, we decided to give this a try when we arrive in KL later.
On the 3rd day when we're in KL (1st and 2nd day, we spent at Genting), we finally went to Sunway Pyramid.
CANTON▪i is located in the new wing of the shopping mall and I think its on the 2nd floor located between the Valentino clothing shop and Jaya Jusco.
We arrived there around 1pm, the restaurant was packed as it's lunch time, and we had to queue ^^
Though it didn't take long for us to get in, we enjoyed watching the chef cooking stuff and slicing meat at the glass kitchen, and I like the interior design where the lights are soothing and their pink and white theme with hanging birdcage certainly is chic and inviting :)
Their signature dishes are noodles, porridges, roasted porks and roasted ducks.
The prices are quite reasonable too :)
I heard they imported the noodles from Hong Kong (that's what their menu says).

I was really satisfied with the dishes that we ordered. ALL OF THEM WERE AS DELICIOUS AS THEIR LOOKS.
The portions were just right for us and everything were mixed well together.
Overall, great foods, nice environment, a must visit if you haven't been here before.
And, you don't have to fly to Hong Kong in search of the original taste - you can get a slice right here in Malaysia ^__^
Last but not least, I will come back to try their other dishes (someday)!

PS2. If you're in Singapore, there's an outlet at ION Orchard (this restaurant is originally from Malaysia).

Got tons of real-life activities to do, and already tired when arrived home ^^;;
Btw, I was travelling (with my family) to Europe last month for 2 weeks :)
We visited some cities in Italy, Switzerland, Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, France & UK.
From all the cities we went, I like PARIS, Lucerne & Amsterdam the most !!!

Despite of the unprofessional arrangement (which I'm lazy to describe @ here) of N.C.E.O (the Event Organizer);
The concert is OUTSTANDING, FANTASTIC, AWESOME, four thumbs up for Mr. Jacky, HE REALLY ROCKSSSSSS !!!
I really wish to watch his concert again (and again and again and again .... !!)
He's such a fabulous singer, heavenly of the heavenly singer (and all worships for him)

Synopsis : Rainie will play a girl from poor family and has to work hard to pay her family debts; she somehow bumped into 2 rich and handsome brothers (Mike and Kingone), the sons of her boss… and started some interesting love stories.
Kingone is the elder brother that is smart, gentle and helps run the family business, while Mike initially an arrogant jerk.

fearless_123 for providing this file, and she has promised to upload this serie every weeks *yiihhaaaa*I'm glad that King One, Rainie & Mike are back together on-screen again !! I love them in Devil Beside You. The plot seems kinda similar to DBY if you watched the previews. They have Mike He as the rich devil again and King One as the good guy and Rainie has to chose between them haha!
But after watch ep. 1, I'm quite disappointed, haha, NO NO this series is good, but it's just not as interesting as when I watched Devil Beside You ep. 1 ^^;; but still there're lots of funny scenes from Mike He haha he's so cute here, and of course I can't believe how HOT King One got now ♥♥♥ (^__^)v
