Earthquake (AGAIN) T_____T
Mar. 30th, 2005 07:56 pmFinallllllllyyyyy ... I can online again (after 2 days that our local electricity company turned off the whole city's lights) !
Well, as of all you've known, the 8.7 sr earthquake happened (again) in my city (MEDAN) ;(
Different from the 26th Dec 2004's earthquake (that caused tsunami), on previous earthquake that happened in the sunday morning, I was still sleeping that time, and didn't feel the whole shaking, but the 2 days ago's earthquake that happened in the monday night, I'm still awake, and watching TV. Suddenly felt my glass-windows and walls were cracking, I realized that the earthquake happened, I hurriedly screamed my mom (who already slept), and by that time, the LIGHTS went out ! It's really really dark and I couldn't see anything. I searched my keys quickly (and my mom went upstair to call my grandma), then I took my 2 puppies went downstair and went out from our house. I wanna call my dad (who haven't been home at that time) but all the communications (phone-line/mobile) can't worked ;(
All my neighbours already gathered outside. The earthquake's shaking was about 3-4 mins. Actually it's more shaking than the 26th Dec 2004. I was really panic and freaked out !
One of my neighbour was stroke and he was hurriedly sent to the nearest hospital. And at that nite, I really can't slept tightly until the next morning >.<
In the next afternoon, few weak eartquakes still happened. And the electricity company still turns off some area's lights, so, somehow you'll find Medan is just like a dead *dark* city >.<
when will this earthquakes finish ? >.<
